A place where dreams and waking life converge, and the boundaries between worlds become uncertain.

My work explores the space where memory, dream, and reality converge. Landscapes emerge and dissolve, structures become fragments, and familiar forms drift between what is seen and what is remembered.

Through layers of oil, acrylic, latex, charcoal, ink, chalk, and other mixed media, I build surfaces that feel both discovered and imagined—part ruin, part sanctuary.

Living on five semi-off-grid acres in coastal Virginia, I spend my days closely observing the rhythms of the natural world: the movement of weather across open fields, the changing light on water, the quiet architecture of trees, grasses, and shoreline.

These observations become the foundation for paintings that seek not to depict a place, but to evoke the experience of place.

Underlying all of my work is a belief that beauty is not manufactured but revealed. The earth, sky, and sea remain the greatest works of art I know—evidence of a Creator whose imagination far exceeds our own. Every painting is, in its own way, an act of attention, gratitude, and wonder.

I understand the world as a continuous field in which nothing is fixed in form, only in perception. What we call objects, moments, or systems are temporary arrangements within this field—emerging, dissolving, and reappearing as conditions of visibility shift.
